The website https://diag-repair.actia.com (hereinafter the “Site”) is a site dedicated to offering all ACTIA’s garage equipment and solutions to professionals in the automotive spare parts and repair sector, whether they are part of a network or independent. The Site also facilitates contact for all interested parties.

ACTIA Group is the holding company of the ACTIA Group, of which ACTIA Automotive is a member. This privacy policy details how our group uses the personal data that we collect when you use the Site or when you respond to e-mail campaigns concerning these activities. 

ACTIA Group, as the party responsible for the content of the https://diag-repair.actia.com website or e-mailing campaigns, is a joint controller within the meaning of the General Data Protection Regulation (GDPR) No. 2016/679 of 27 April 2016 for the processing of personal data collected via the Website and e-mailing campaigns.

ACTIA Automotive, as the operator of the personal data, is jointly responsible for the processing of the personal data collected via the Site and the e-mailing campaigns.

ACTIA Group and ACTIA Automotive are hereinafter collectively referred to as “ACTIA”.

1 – Data processed

The co-contractors collect the following personal data:

E-mail addresses

This data is kept for a period of 3 years from the initial date of collection. This period is extended whenever you explicitly give your consent for the subsequent collection of your personal data via the Site and e-mail campaigns.

Technical information collected automatically:
Connection logs: IP addresses, type of operating system, browser.

This data is kept for a period of 1 year after the connection.

Note: e-mailing campaigns are sent to ACTIA customer databases or to opt-in databases.

2 – Purpose of processing

The personal data collected on the Site explicitly via forms or responses to e-mail campaigns are processed for the purpose of providing users with technical and/or commercial information concerning all ACTIA garage equipment and solutions.

Contact between ACTIA and users of the site may be made in the following two ways: via group or individual communications by e-mail, telephone or post; or
to each interested party who has provided contact information (which could be actual or potential customers, partners or any other third party),

The personal data collected automatically (technical information) on the Site are processed for the following purposes

to ensure the proper functioning and ergonomics of the websites, for example to adapt the display according to the terminal (laptop, smartphone,…),
to evaluate and improve the websites and related activities, for example to carry out statistics,
ensure compliance with regulations and protection against cyber security risks, for example by collecting the IP addresses from which you visit the websites,

3 – Legal basis:

This processing of personal data is carried out on the following legal bases:

the data subject has given his/her consent to the processing of his/her personal data for one or more specific purposes
the processing is necessary for the purposes of the legitimate interests pursued by the co-owners;

4 – Transfer of data to non-EU countries

ACTIA may transfer your personal data to companies in the ACTIA group outside the European Union and the European Economic Area.

 ACTIA Group companies in non-EU countries will only interact with the site if a sufficient level of data protection is provided by the third country in accordance with the European Commission’s Adequacy Resolution, or appropriate safeguards (e.g., data protection contracts using the Commission’s Standard Data Protection Contractual Clauses or Binding Corporate Rules (BCR)) can be provided to adequately protect your personal data. Web marketing suppliers of ACTIA Group and its subsidiaries,
Business units of ACTIA Group and its subsidiaries,

6 – User rights 

In order to assert your rights to consult, access, obtain (transfer), modify or delete your personal data, you must send your request(s) to

7 – Updating of the privacy policy

This privacy policy may be amended as a result of changes in business or technical purposes. 

This data protection policy is effective from 15 April 2021.
